Color Issues
All colors in emailed (PDF proofs) and printed proofs are approximate. While we do our best to provide consistent color across all of our products, minor color shifts may happen between both emailed and printed proofs and the final product, as well as between items printed using different printing processes. For more information, please see below.
Emailed Proofs
Colors displayed on a monitor can differ widely from one computer to another. Not every monitor may be calibrated correctly to display colors as they will be printed, and in fact, colors displayed on a monitor are affected by all kinds of other variables, including software and ambient lighting. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that a color displayed on your computer monitor will match the final printed product. If color matching is important to you, please request a printed or press proof. >> MORE INFO
Printed Proofs
Most printed proofs are output on one of our digital color multi-function devices. However, colors may vary between different printing processes, paper colors & paper types. We promise to come as close as we can, but we cannot guarantee exact color matching between digitally printed proofs and spot or full color press runs. >> MORE INFO
Press Proofs / Color Matching
When color matching is important, press proofs are available on some products for an additional cost. Please allow for extended setup and proofing time if a press proof is requested. Press proofs are not available for RUSH items.
Color matching services are available for an additional cost on projects using spot colors for normal press runs, and in some circumstances may be available on full color short run items printed on our digital multi-function devices. Color matching is not available for full color offset press printed items unless a press proof is requested. Please allow for extended setup and proofing time if color matching is necessary. >> MORE INFO
NOTE: Press proofs may not be possible on all products. Please call for more information.
