Color Information
Full Color
For best results, submit a CMYK file if you can generate one. For art that primarily consists of photographs, RGB may result in color closer to what you see on your computer monitor, however, not all monitors or printers are created alike and color shifts may occur with either a CMYK or RGB file.
Black & White Printing
If your art will print in black ink only, please submit a grayscale file. For best results, all black used in your art should be grayscale or a percentage of black (not RGB black or rich black). Tints are fine (e.g., 50% black, 70% black) but be advised that percentages under 7% may not print cleanly.
Spot Colors
If your art will print one or more spot colors, please submit a CMYK file containing Pantone® spot colors of your choice. Black should be Pantone® Process Black, Grayscale or CMYK black (NOT RGB black or rich black). If you do not have access to a layout program that allows you to use PMS® (Pantone Matching System) colors, you can submit a CMYK file with Black & your choice of Yellow, Magenta or Cyan and we will convert your art to the correct spot colors for easy color separation and printing.
NOTE: Due to the many variables involved in the printing process, minor color shifts may occur. Please allow for extra production time if color matching is necessary. Color matching is not available on all products and may require an additional charge.
